Hand made Euro tea kettle. Tea kettles have a real artistic, historic and cultural value all over the world. Teapots have become great gift items. The 1st tea kettle was developed in China in the sixteenth Century. The Japanese drank various teas, including green tea. By the 18th Century the teapots made at Yixing, China, were being made in forms which had symbolic significances, for example, peach shape for extended life and good luck, pomegranate for many, sound kids.

Early teapots, when imported to Europe, prompted potters to prepare new variations of tea kettle culture. England, being more keen on tea drinking than the remainder of Europe, made the teapot their own specialization.

Currently, tea drinking is making a comeback in the United States. Some state Americans are shifting from "happy hour" to "tea time." Excessive social drinking is increasingly frowned upon and, with executives facing shrinking expense budgets, the "power lunch" is being replaced by the "power tea."
