real artistic, historical and ethnic value throughout
the world. Teapots have become great gift items. The

By the eighteenth Century the teapots manufactured at Yixing, China,
were being made in shapes which had symbolic meanings,
for example, peach shape for longer life and good fortune,
pomegranate for many, sound children.
Early
teapots, when imported to Europe, inspired
potters to produce new variations of tea pot culture.
Great Britain, being more keen on tea drinking than the rest
of Europe, made the tea kettle their own specialism.
Currently,
tea drinking is making a resurgence in the U.S.A..
Some state Americans are switching over from "happy hour"
to "tea time." Excessive social drinking is
increasingly frowned upon and, with executives facing
shrinking expense budgets, the "power lunch"
is being replaced by the "power tea." Herbal
teas popularized during the 1960s are also gaining
acceptance as additional folks try to refrain from caffeine.

of the different tea types. A selection of tea varieties
is ideal for afternoon tea or a simple tea party.

Recipe: Mexican Chopped Chicken SaladRecipe Description: Light, tasty, not really Mexican. But, the chips and beans surely give it a Tex-Mex type vibe. Recipe: Turkey Cranberry Relish ScoopsRecipe Description: This refreshing relish came about when my sister made a wonderful gelatin salad for dessert on Thanksgiving. Cranberry is a favorite flavor for both of us, but this dessert was more refreshing and flavorful than any cranberry combination I\'d had before. A few changes later, these traditional ingredients have a new life in these festive bites for any holiday party.
